Dear Readers,
If you’ve been following our story since the beginning, you know that we had two goals this year: 1. Grow
2. Learn
I’m happy to report, that we have done both (*insert self-slap-on-the-back* or sarcastic Tina Fey self-high five).
We somehow have propelled to the point where we thought we would be in three years: selling to customers other than our moms, developing a client base, being asked to speak at meetings and conferences, and expanding our growing operation.
So with that being said, our farm is still producing goodies in this odd summer/fall weather we’re having, but we don’t have a lot to update you on this week other than we are in a frantic planning stage for 2016. Please stay tuned in the next couple of weeks for information regarding flower and vegetable subscriptions and weddings. Also, be on the lookout for some local and national media coverage about this little farm.
I also need to ask a favor of you, dear Reader. What did you enjoy reading about during our first year? What did you enjoy purchasing from us? What would you like to see us do next year? Please leave us a comment on what we’ve done well or what we can improve upon? Because as my homeboy Seth Godin once said, “What we need most in our lives, though, is something worth doing, worth it because we care.”
Sincerely,
Audra
P.S. Comb honey is still available to purchase. Just drop us a line and we’ll hook you up. It’s delightful on toast and/or a cheese plate and/or just straight into your mouth.
